Accommodate I - 16 July 2017

Other than the gameplay simulation, a panel discussion on conservation in Singapore was carried out. Four speakers were featured, each with experience in conserving particular spaces in Singapore.

Accommodate II: The Disappearing Countryside - 20 Aug 2017

Keeping the original format of Accommodate I, we changed the context and content by transporting participants back to 1965 Singapore, whereby there were more pig farms than glitzy shopping malls in Singapore. As Ministry Officers, participants are tasked to develop Singapore in the best way possible.

Our panel discussion featured speakers with valuable insights on issues surrounding farmland and food security in Singapore. Issues discussed involved developments in the food industry and how land-use planning comes into play alongside other factors.

Changemakers with Enactus NTU

Accommodate ran a session for Enactus NTU’s new batch of changemakers. We introduced some social issues through the Accommodate game and discussed how we can look at them through different lens.

Accommodate at Yale NUS I’dECO - 9 March 2018

A session Accommodate was held in Yale NUS with I’dECO: Yale-NUS Sustainability Movement​. Other than the gameplay simulation, a presentation on Accommodate and I’dECO initiatives was also carried out.
